Right = perceptual, spacial experiences and feelings.
Left = Sequential, logical, and language oriented experiences.
But did you know those differences can create a problem when working with your clients?
In The Courage To Heal, Ellen Bass and Laura Davis point out why:
“When we try to retrieve right-brain information through left-brain techniques, such as logic and language, we sometimes hit a blank.“
This is a fairly profound thought, when you engage your left hemisphere and think about it.
